Many of our favorite stars in Twilight have also spent some time this last year working on other projects which is fantastic because we get to see the true scope of their talents (as if there were ever any question). Michael Welch is no exception to this. He has a movie coming out on June 8th entitled Unrequited. See below for the synopsis and the trailer…kind of creepy. I’m glad Mike Newton didn’t have these tendencies. As a human, Edward would have done away with him swiftly! Movie Synopsis:

Many of our Twilight stars have films OTHER than Eclipse coming out in the approaching months. Valentine’s Day is one of those films and stars and slew of Hollywood faves including Taylor Lautner as a high school athlete (nice). The first trailer tha came out fo the film was Taylor-less, but this one has some nice shots of he and on-screen love Taylor Swift. This is one I want to see. I’m always up for a good romantic comedy! |
| What IS that terribly sad trailer that runs before New Moon? | ||
It’s The Lovely Bones, and friends that were with me when it aired gasped when the trailer ran. Apparently it’s intense, incredibly sad, but extremely intriguing and well worth the read. You can find out more about it HERE. Remember how we saw trailer after trailer for Push during the 30+ viewings of Twilight (ok, maybe that was just me who saw Twilight that many times…)? This movie is going to sear into our brains before each viewing of New Moon, so we might as well find out more, go see it, and become a little more enlightened in the process… About The Lovely Bones: Based on the critically acclaimed best-selling novel by Alice Sebold, and directed by Oscar® winner Peter Jackson from a screenplay by Fran Walsh & Philippa Boyens & Jackson, “The Lovely Bones” centers on a young girl who has been murdered and watches over her family – and her killer – from heaven. She must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal. |

But if you’re like many of us, it might have raised more questions than answers. Well, MTV is a Twilighter-friendly community, which is why we’ve assembled these secrets revealed in the “New Moon” trailer. For some of the secrets, we have answers. For others, there are only questions. So read on, then post your theories/ insider info/ memories from the book in the comments section down below. Because, collectively, we have more assembled vampire knowledge than even those snotty Volturi. Who Is That Dude? Countdown to the next New Moon trailer!!
Whereas the first full “New Moon” trailer showed the Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella break-up, this trailer focuses on what comes after. There are shots of Bella’s motorcycle crash (scenes also shown at Comic-Con), with Jacob (Taylor Lautner) asking her what she was thinking and Jessica asking her if she is an adrenaline junkie now. We see a lot more of Bella’s cliff jump (and a totally awesome vision of Edward in the water; props to Chris Weitz on the CGI!) and of Jacob trying to comfort her. We also see Alice (Ashley Greene, a.k.a. our VMA Fashion Correspondent!) explaining to Bella about how Edward thinks shes dead there are some pretty extensive clips showing Italy and Bella’s run to Edward, as well as Alice’s sexy yellow Porsche. Visually, “New Moon” is about 10 steps up from “Twilight.” There are some quick flashes of Edi Gathegi’s Laurent with his brand-spankin’ new red contacts and shots of the Sam and the other werewolves before and after their transformations. The end of the trailer showed some epic fights going on with the Volturi, and we get to hear Bella’s token line, “No Edward, dont!” But hands down the best part of the trailer is its final moment, when Dakota Fanning walks toward the screen and states, “This may hurt just a little.” Thanks to Twilighters Anonymous for the heads up! |

Yay! Summit finally released the trailer “Becoming Jacob Black” along with this release: SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT Starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Rachelle Lefevre, Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Michael Sheen and Dakota Fanning Based on the Novel “New Moon” by Stephenie Meyer / Screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg Directed by Chris Weitz In the second installment of Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally successful TWILIGHT series, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as BELLA SWAN (Kristen Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of—only to find herself in greater peril than ever before. Following Bella’s ill-fated 18th birthday party, EDWARD CULLEN (Robert Pattinson) and his family abandon the town of Forks, Washington, in an effort to protect her from the dangers inherent in their world. As the heartbroken Bella sleepwalks through her senior year of high school, numb and alone, she discovers Edward’s image comes to her whenever she puts herself in jeopardy. Her desire to be with him at any cost leads her to take greater and greater risks. With the help of her childhood friend JACOB BLACK (Taylor Lautner), Bella refurbishes an old motorbike to carry her on her adventures. Bella’s frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob, a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe, who has a supernatural secret of his own. When a chance encounter brings Bella face to face with a former nemesis, only the intervention of a pack of supernaturally large wolves saves her from a grisly fate, and the encounter makes it frighteningly clear that Bella is still in grave danger. In a race against the clock, Bella learns the secret of the Quileutes and Edward’s true motivation for leaving her. She also faces the prospect of a potentially deadly reunion with her beloved that is a far cry from the one she’d hoped for. With more of the passion, action and suspense that made TWILIGHT a worldwide phenomenon, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON is a spellbinding follow-up to the box office hit. U.S. release via Summit Entertainment, November 20, 2009. |
