As reported by Twilight Lexicon, E! News was going to do a feature on Kellan Lutz promoting Teens for Jeans but because another story (read bigger news?) broke, it had to be postponed.  However, to make up for it, E! sent Lexicon this adorable PSA outtake with Ashley Greene and Justin Long (the Mac guy lol) for Teens for Jeans.  It’s a good laugh! If you’re looking for more infomation on this program you can go to DoSomething.org!

Also on DoSomething.org is this story of Kellan bringing in a donation of 50 jeans. If they’re all his…wow.  If they aren’t and he collected them for the purpose of donation…still wow!

Teens for Jeans partner Aéropostale announced the big 5-0 number on its Twitter the next day. The Twilight team has really shown their passion for the campaign—Tinsel Korey joined Kellan to promote the cause, and let’s not forget this year’s PSA featuring Ashley Greene!

As promised, updates are being posted.  The saddest news? @BreakingNews as well as @AndersonCooper sent a report out on Twitter this morning that another 6.0 earthquake has hit the already devastated Haiti.  According to MTV UK performances from Friday’s telethon will later be sold on iTunes and proceeds will in turn be sent for relief efforts in Haiti.

A host of massive names have been added to the Hope For Haiti Now telethon- which will take place this Friday in Los Angeles, New York and LONDON.

The event is being organised by George Clooney and MTV to raise money for the earthquake hit country- where up to 200,000 people have died.

 

We can confirm that Coldplay will perform live from the capital while Jay-Z, Rihanna, Bono and The Edge will also be in London and will play a special collaboration for the fundraiser.

 

Wyclef Jean hosts in New York with Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, Mary. J Blige, Shakira and Sting all performing.

 

In Los Angeles Clooney will take charge of proceedings with more huge artists set to play live.

 

He’ll be joined by Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder and Taylor Swift.

 

Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock are set to team up to perform at the LA leg.

 

All the tracks will then be released via iTunes with proceedings going to help Haiti. The concert will be shown live on MTV UK and later on VIVA.

With all the devistation surrounding those suffering in Haiti there’s one thing Hollywood is really good at and that is coming together for a good cause.  This Friday there will be a telethon held in which performers from all over will do their all to inspire us to open our hearts and our wallets to help those in need.

I just got word that the Twilight star has signed on for Friday’s Hope for Haiti telethon. As of right now, it looks like Rob will be the sole presenter in London, with performances by Jay-Z and Bono.

Stateside performers—some announced and others not—will include:

Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Shakira and Bruce Springsteen, who are among those performing live during the two-hour benefit, which will air on all the major television networks (including our very own E!).

Other mega-celebs who will present and/or help in the phone banks are Jennifer Aniston, Jake Gyllenhaal, Brad Pitt, Anna Kendrick, Zac Efron, Bradley Cooper, Renée Zellweger, Chris Pine, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Colin Farrell, Gabby Sidibe and Emily Blunt, among many others.

No word yet on Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, but as I was the first to tell you, Hollywood’s hottest vampire movie trio is a very wanted group for the telethon because of the impact they would have with young people.

Also on organizers’ wish list are—no surprise—Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie.

George Clooney is set to host from Los Angeles, with Wyclef John in New York City and CNN newsman Anderson Cooper in Haiti.

Our source says celeb participation and other plans keep changing. “With everything moving so quickly,” the source said, “changes are happening every minute.”

Regal Entertainment Group announced on Monday that actors Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will attend the Tennessee Benefit Screening of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon“.

The premiere will be held at Regal Cinemas Pinnacle Stadium 18 in Turkey Creek on Tuesday, Nov. 17, three days before the movie opens in theaters. Proceeds from the advance screening will benefit Variety- The Children’s Charity of Eastern Tennessee.

Meet Sterling, the luckiest girl in the Twi-universe. Her dad drove her to all the filming locations of Twilight and to Forks, WA for the DVD release. And her parents bought her Bella’s truck.

Yum. Rob’s auction clip… Thanks, Twilight Gossip!

Another cute pic of Rob and Sharon at amFAR last night, thanks to CoverAwards.

Lainey’s croney, Laura, sat across from Rob at the amFAR benefit and again, this morning, I’m swooning:

I look up to see him walking in, in his fitted tux, no tie, a couple of buttons on his shirt undone, looking absolutely delicious. He’s walking like he’s on a runway, a far cry from his usual “please don’t look at me” gait with slumped shoulders and a ducked head.

He took a seat at a table opposite us, giving me a close and unrestricted view of him and, to quote Lainey, sending my loins into quiveration mode.

So did I shamelessly ogle him for the next two hours? You bet your sweet ass I did!

The boy is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. He chain smokes like crazy, and while I generally find that a disgusting habit, he looks ridiculously sexy doing it. In fact, he looked picture perfect every single time I glanced over at him. He was chatting animatedly with his manager and his agent, laughing and smiling, looking like a guy who was loving his life.

At one point I was jolted out of my lust-induced haze by Lainey who asked me if I was going to, and I quote, “man up and bring it?” I could only reply to her smug little challenge with a death glare because honestly, short of flashing him my boob, what was I supposed to do?

Eventually, Emile Hirsch walked in with his girlfriend and another good looking girl. They greeted Rob and he – get this – looked shy and stared down alternately at the table or at his management team. It was pretty cute actually.

What I didn’t find cute was the way Emile greeted Rob – it was a condescending “heyyyyy buddyyyyyyy” and then he proceeded to poach one of Rob’s smokes. It was interesting to observe the difference between these two young actors.

Emile walked in muttering something about kicking someone’s ass and then loudly gave his pointed opinions on various topics. Rob conversed with him but wasn’t nearly as biting or cocky. I’m not saying he doesn’t have an edge – I overheard him make some sarcastic remarks and he does love dropping the F-bomb (with that British accent – HOT!) , but overall, he comes across as a much nicer guy.
